IAN DUNLOP

Ian was born in Cornwall, brought up in the United States and is now back living in a remote part of The Lizard Peninsula for more than 30 years. He works in a veriety of media.

He produces watercolour paintings, individual abstract three dimensional works and unusual furniture. Although most of his watercolours and monoprints feature the great Cornish outdoors, it is the individualistic and often humorous eccentric pieces that are his real passion.

Reflecting the years spent as a fisherman and the beautiful area in which he lives, much of Ian’s work is a commentary on the ‘aboriginal’ Cornish lifestyle and images of the Lizard area and fishing industry.
